The Australian Property Hall of Fame Dinner is staged annually in conjunction with the Property Leaders’ Summit in Canberra, which brings together the nation’s parliamentary leaders with decision makers from across the property industry. 2012

In 2012 the Property Council of Australia proudly launched the Australian Property Hall of Fame and its inaugural inductees. The Property Council of Australia Board of Directors selects the inductees for the Australian Property Hall of Fame.

Induction into the Australian Property Hall of Fame is awarded to individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the Australian property industry on the basis of their sustained leadership, major pioneering contribution and outstanding legacy to the property industry and the Australian community.

The inaugural Australian Property Hall of Fame Gala Dinner was staged in conjunction with the Property Congress, the launch ceremony took place on Wednesday 31 October 2012 at the Sydney Town Hall.

 
2013

In 2013 three industry icons were inducted into the Australian Property Hall of Fame in a ceremony which took place at the Innovation & Excellence Awards Gala Dinner on Saturday 18 May 2013 at The Star Event Centre, Sydney.

2014

In 2014 we recognised the heritage and honour played by three new industry icons in a ceremony which took place at the Innovation & Excellence Awards Gala Dinner on Saturday 17 May 2014 at The Star Event Centre, Sydney.

2015

In 2015 two industry icons we inducted in a ceremony which took place at the sold out Innovation & Excellence Awards Gala Dinner on Friday 1 May 2015 at The Star Event Centre, Sydney.

2016

In 2016 three industry icons we honoured at an induction ceremony in front of 150 of Australia’s top CEOs’ and investment decision makers at an invitation only event, the Property Leaders’ Dinner. The gala dinner was held on 24 May 2016 at Parliament House, Canberra.

2017

In 2017 two industry icons were inducted in a ceremony which took place at the property Leaders’ Dinner on 30 May 2017 at Parliament House, Canberra.

2018

In 2018 two industry icons were inducted in a ceremony which took place at the Property Leaders’ Dinner held on 30 May 2018 at Parliament House, Canberra.

2019

In 2019 three industry icons were inducted in a ceremony which took place at the closing dinner of the Property Leaders’ Summit held at the National Gallery Australia, Canberra on 18 June 2019.

2022

In 2022 two industry icons were inducted in a ceremony which took place at the closing dinner of the Property Leaders’ Summit held at Parliament House, Canberra on 7 June 2022.

2023

In 2023 property luminaries Nigel Satterley AM and Joan Cordell were inducted into the Australian Property Hall of Fame.

The Property Council of Australia’s Property Hall of Fame Gala Dinner took place at the Great Hall in Parliament House in Canberra, with senior industry figures paying tribute to the remarkable contributions made by both leaders.

2024

In 2024 Jim Hazel and Charlotte Vidor AM were inducted into the Australian Property Hall of Fame thanks to their tireless leadership and remarkable achievements.

Senior industry leaders paid tribute to both recipients at the Property Council of Australia’s Property Hall of Fame Gala Dinner. Held in the Great Hall of Parliament House this evening, it was a fitting backdrop to showcase the life and achievements of these property legends.

Both Jim and Charlotte delivered incredibly moving speeches which left the audience in awe (and a few tears!) of their impact and contribution to the property industry at large and the many individuals they have mentored along the way.
