Retirement Living Policies and Procedures Manual

The  Retirement Living Policies and Procedures Manual 2014 is a joint initiative of the Property Council of Australia (WA) and Village Solutions Australia. It was developed following the introduction of the Lifemark Accreditation process commissioned by the Property Council of Australia.

The objective of the manual is to assist retirement villages in their preparation for Lifemark accreditation, which is a robust third party accreditation process. More importantly, it will serve as a training manual and guide for current and new staff.

BSI, the creator of Lifemark, has reviewed and accepted the policies and procedures set out in Section 1 of the manual. The policies and procedures are arranged in the same order as the Lifemark standards for easy referencing. The Lifemark acreditation standards are included in Section 3 of the manual for convenience.

Purchasers of the manual will also receive an update in 2017.
