EVENT RECAP

The Property Council welcomed industry members to a range of events over the last fortnight.

500 Women in Property Wrap Event

This year’s 500 Women in Property program participants and sponsors officially wrapped up on Wednesday 17 November 2021.

An incredible lineup of panellists that included Libby Marshall, CEO & Founder – Steam Capital, Kathy Mac Dermott, former COO – Property Council of Australia, Garth Haslam, Regional Manager Facilities QLD – Scentre Group and moderated by Jess Caire, Deputy Executive Director – Property Council of Australia.

Participants heard insights and gained valuable takeaways on how to lean into the uncomfortable, playing to your strengths and silencing the inner critic. The panel also challenged the notion of personal branding, flipping the conversation to considering your value proposition.

Nominations will be opening in early 2022 for the next cohort of 500 Women in Property participants. In the meantime, please reach out to Julia Dixon, Senior Policy Advisor to find out more.

Finally we wish to thank our program sponsor GPT for making this important initiative possible and the Property Council’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee for being active champions.
