With Australians well and truly rediscovering the joy of travel, the Property Council has brought back our much-loved study tours.
After being grounded, the study tours are set to offer participants to visit places that create opportunities and learnings that can be applied, spark conversation an inspire members.
The international or domestic options will get you renewing your dusty passport or taking an educational journey in our own backyard.
Two tours are happing during March; one in Singapore, which promises to show participants through some of the most forward-thinking buildings around the world, and also in Adelaide, a city that has seen tremendous growth in recent years.
Fortius Investor Relations Manager Catherine Farrell went on the 2019 study tour to London and said she thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
“We arrived in one of the hottest weeks on record for the UK. It would have been between 25 and 30 degrees every day,” she said.
“I can’t speak highly enough of the PCA team that coordinated the entire experience.
“We got an all-access pass to prominent skyscrapers in the city, including The Shard and Walkie-Talkie building and visited some of the most exciting new developments happening at the time, such as Lend Lease’s, Elephant Park mixed-use development and the redevelopment of the historic Battersea Power Station.
“I enjoyed all access to some of the most exciting developments that were happening there at the time.
“For me, this experience was one of the highlights of my career.
“It’s a great opportunity to connect with peers across the property industry and take back the learnings into our organisations.”
Singapore – March 29-31
This event offers a unique opportunity to learn from the most progressive leaders and thinkers in Singapore through high level briefings.
Participants will get a behind-the-scenes look at two of the largest planned residential mixed-use developments in the country and discover premium Grade A office floors that offer a new workplace experience.
The event also delves into the topic of capital markets and investments in Asia, and how technology is shaping the cities of the future. First-class access to some of the most ambitious and innovative buildings in the world will round out the experience.
