Cathy McGuane is Chair of Stadiums Queensland which owns and operates major sports and entertainment venues throughout Queensland.  The portfolio is currently valued at $3.4 billion.  85% of the Stadiums Queensland venues will be used for the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic games.  Cathy has been Chair for nearly six years.  She has also held senior leadership positions in the financial services sector for approximately 30 years.  She is currently the Executive Manager Member Experience at TUH Health Fund and previously established the Queensland office of HESTA Super fund.

 

Cathy was the previous Chair of Association of Superannuation Funds Australia (ASFA) Qld and a former board director of ASFA.  She received an ASFA Award in recognition for her contribution to the superannuation industry in Queensland.  She has been a QSuper board committee member of the Product, Services and Advice committee and is a Graduate of the AICD.

 

 

Cathy is a self-published author of Financial Fitness for Kids books, which sold over 120,000 copies, with a focus on helping parents teach their children about money.
