Step one: Industrial and Supply Chain Part 1 self-paced online learning

Do you need to develop your knowledge in the industrial property sector? The self-paced learning will give you a solid understanding about four key areas.

The self-paced learning will introduce the following topics:

  1. Supply Chain
  2. Transactions & Developments
  3. Leasing
  4. Asset Management.

This will equip you with necessary knowledge to apply in the three-day classroom environment below.

Step two: Industrial and Supply Chain Part 2 three-day classroom learning

Over three days, you will learn how to:

  • Examine the concepts of supply chain and how it impacts property choices
  • Identify and apply competing objectives in a supply chain context to their property selection decisions
  • Understand the process of identifying, purchasing, permitting, designing and constructing an industrial asset
  • Apply financial modelling of a prospective purchase and development
  • Identify and analyse the main lease types applicable to the industrial sector
  • Apply and analyse a heads of agreement to a leasing transaction and / or negotiation
  • Investigate, identify, analyse and implement strategies to improve investment returns of Industrials assets
  • Explore the life cycle of asset including leasing strategies, cashflow management, and asset enhancement strategies.

Step three: post classroom assessment

To gain the Industrial and Supply Chain Industry Diploma, candidates must complete a post classroom assessment of approximately 1000 – 1500 words, applying the concepts covered during the course.

How long does it take to complete the Industry Diploma?

To complete your Industrial and Supply Chain Industry Diploma you will need to undertake each of the steps listed above which is approx. 8 hours of self-paced online learning and three-days of classroom learning. You will then have 6 weeks to complete the post-classroom assessment.
