The Metro Opportunity
Brisbane Metro will be a game changer for public transport in Brisbane. The first stage 21-kilometre metro network will connect 18 stations and work in conjunction with Cross River Rail through major interchanges at Boggo Road and Roma Street. New high-capacity and high-frequency Metro services will run along dedicated busways and link with suburban bus and train services as part of a better planned network.
It’s all part of Brisbane City Council’s plan to get you home quicker and safer.
But beyond its transport function, this $944 million investment in the city creates myriad opportunities for property. Whether through a new station at the Cultural Centre, or the new tunnel under Adelaide Street, new opportunities are abound.
With capacity to move 22,000 people per hour per direction, find out how some of the biggest property players are looking to enhance their own assets to capitalise on the opportunities the Brisbane Metro presents.
