Queensland Breakfast: Rising Rates and the Residential Market

With the first interest rate rise in a decade hitting in April, followed by another in May, it is unclear when rates will top out, or how the flow-on impacts will affect the residential market in SEQ.

The market has gone from strength to strength over the last two years… but will continued interstate migration and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games be enough to insulate SEQ from any predicted lull?

Join us as we hear from market experts, who will delve into the data and research including typology, mortgage data, and economic analysis, to predict what is in store for SEQ in the second half of 2022.

Keynote Speakers:
Nerida Conisbee, Chief Economist - Ray White
Mike Gill, Head of Research - PEXA
