Indigenous Placemaking is the collaborative process towards creating places that recognise Indigenous culture and its connection to country.
Join our guest speakers at lunch on June 3 to learn more about why Designing with Country is so important. What does it mean and how does the design and development community respond to the need for connecting with country and culture?
The Government Architect’s Principal Architect will join us to talk about the guidelines and how they are used to guide and support integrated and successful design responses to Aboriginal culture and heritage.
We’ll also bring together a panel of experts to discuss what this looks like in a practical sense as well as how we can all better understand and embrace Aboriginal culture.
