Eligibility Criteria 

  • The initiative must have taken place in the 12 months before nominations close.
  • Only WA or national members of the Property Council are eligible to enter.
  • Projects must be located in Western Australia.
  • If the project has previously won an award there must be a significant point of difference for the project to be nominated again.

Types of Innovation and Marketing Awards

Best Community Activation or Engagement

This award recognises outstanding community activation or engagement. This can include an event, program, service or initiative. It must demonstrate a beneficial relationship between the entrant and the target stakeholder group and/or community.

Best Innovation Award

This award recognises innovation that has significantly advanced and improved the property industry. Innovation can relate to a product, program, service or other initiative benefitting both industry and the community.

Best Marketing Campaign

This award recognises an innovative marketing campaign for a development, project, initiative, or brand, that has achieved measurable excellence in awareness, conversion, or sales against the campaign objectives.

Best Sustainable Project, Development or Initiative

This award recognises innovation in sustainability and the application of practices that reduce an eco-footprint, including how the initiative promotes and improves sustainability outcomes.

Judging Criteria

Please provide information for each section below. It is up to you to decide what is most important to include in each section.

Vision and Innovation (40% weighting) Describe and include information on:

  • Vision
  • Innovation
  • Placemaking

Consider how the project contributed benefits the community, businesses, tenant and/or residents.

Outcomes Achieved (60% weighting) Describe the outcomes. You can include information on:

  • Community Benefits
  • Economics
    • Did your financial outcomes meet or exceed your planned objectives?
  • Placemaking

Consider how the final outcomes compared to your vision during the planning phase, if they were achieved or how they differed.
