This award is only applicable to individual nominations. Team entries are ineligible for this award as are self-nominations.
Category
For individuals new to the industry who demonstrate an aptitude and desire to develop their property career with forward-thinking efforts, bringing new ideas or practices that makes the industry better, and have already made a mark in their organisation and industry. Winners of this award will have less than five years industry experience and can be of any age. contributions to the industry (e.g. Committee / board appointments).
Criteria
Please note the criteria are not a guide, nominations that do not address the criteria specifically may be at a disadvantage.
Career Profile – (30% weighting/Limit 800 words)
Outline the entrant’s career goals and their outstanding commitment to the property industry and community. Include details such as:Â
- Employment history
- Professional developmentÂ
- Internal business contributions and contributions to the industry (eg. Committee / board appointments)
- Achievement of business and personal goalsÂ
- Career challenges
- Why they chose property as a career choice
- Their vision for the future of the industry.
Industry contribution – (50% weighting/Limit 800 words)
Address how the entrant has made a significant contribution to the property industry.Â
List a strategy / innovation / project the entrant has been directly involved with which has shaped Victoria’s property industry. Describe how the entrant outlined to the following elements for the project:
- InnovationÂ
- Individual/team contributionsÂ
- Challenges faced and how they were resolvedÂ
- Knowledge sharing via published articles, speaking engagements, certificates and media coverage.
Referee/testimonial interview – (20% weighting)
Please provide contact details of ONE industry referee who will support this nomination.

Please note nominations MUST be submitted by COB Friday 14 March 2025.
All nominations will go through a strict judging process prior to finalists and winners being selected.
If a sufficient number of applications is not received for any award category, the Property Council reserves the right not to proceed to awarding a winner.Â
