Benn Zemek has over 15 years of experience as a real estate finance specialist working as a principle investor, developer and advisor across the spectrum of real estate sectors and in multiple global jurisdictions. Benn’s specific experience has involved substantial exposure to the investment and financial management, transaction management and capital raising for development and investment assets across nearly all real estate sectors, including most recently, c-suite responsibility for some of the largest and most complex development and capital transactions in the UK.

Benn was the Chief Financial Officer of the Battersea Power Station estate; joining the project in early 2013 (shortly after acquisition) and playing a key role over a decade, in the successful transformation of the £9bn regeneration site into what is now one of the most awarded and exciting mixed use neighbourhoods in the world. Back in Australia, Benn is now spending time establishing a ‘for purpose’ sustainable and affordable housing developer with like minded partners in the real estate industry, in order to help address the critical issue of affordable housing in the community.

Benn has degrees in Civil Engineering and Finance from the University of Queensland.
