The Technology and AI Roundtable invites you to play a key role in shaping the future of technology, innovation, and sustainability in the property sector.
The Roundtable advocates for policies and practices that accelerate technology adoption, enhance sustainability compliance, and support sustainable innovation. This includes collaboration with the Property Council’s geographic and sector-specific divisions to promote technology advancements, foster partnerships, and attract global investment, particularly in high-growth sectors like data centres and the living sector.
By joining one of our four working groups, you will collaborate with industry leaders to tackle critical challenges, drive impactful solutions, and position Australian real estate as a global leader in technology adoption.

Working Groups Overview
The Technology and AI Roundtable will have four working groups
- Capability and Awareness
The Capability Working Group will develop an education program to increase awareness and understanding of technology’s transformative potential across the property sector. This program will enable the industry to confidently adopt and maximise the benefits of technology to achieve operational excellence and sustainability. - Data, Insights, and AI
The Data, Insights, and AI Working Group will empower the property sector to unlock the value of data and integrate AI seamlessly. This group will advocate for appropriate regulatory settings while driving data-driven decision-making, operational efficiency, and sustainability outcomes. - Cybersecurity
The Cybersecurity Working Group will raise awareness and build resilience across the property sector by providing practical, flexible, and asset-specific best practice guidance. This group aims to mitigate risks, safeguard OT and IT systems, and ensure compliance throughout the supply chain. - Sustainability and Operations TechnologyÂ
The Sustainability and Operations Technology Working Group will enable the property sector to adopt technologies that streamline sustainability reporting and compliance, while supporting data-informed decisions to improve operational efficiency and deliver measurable environmental outcomes. By aligning with globally recognised standards and offering practical tools, this group will empower organisations to prioritise action over compliance, enhancing both their sustainability impact and operational excellence.
