Not even a bit of rain could dampen spirits at the annual Future Directions lawn bowls

On Friday 10 November, Norman Park Bowls Club once again played host to our annual Future Directions lawn bowls.

More than 200 of Queensland’s rising property stars took to the greens in their best Barbie and Ken themed outfits for the 2023 competition.

While the rain brought an abrupt end to the bowls component of the evening after the first round it didn’t dampen spirits.

Competition was alive and well even after the bowls came to an end for a series of games to determine who would take home the prizes.

The most highly anticipated prize though was the Property Industry Foundation raffle, a $1,500 Flight Centre travel voucher donated by Lancini Property Group, Russo Investments, and Cooper Grace Ward.

It wasn’t all fun and games, Future Directions events like the annual lawn bowls provide young property professionals valuable networking opportunities.

A packed Cloudland played host to the 2023 Queensland Future Directions Bingo night.

In what is already being lauded as the Future Directions event of the year – the annual FDs Bingo night held on Thursday 8 June was a hit.

174 attendees arrived to mingle and network before bingo. Set in the iconic Cloudland, this was the perfect venue for host Drag Queen ShuShu Funtanna to bring some trademark fun to the occasion.

Over the next hour the crowd was treated to a prize extravaganza – a special thank you to our prize donors for their generous contributions:

  • Denai Rex at Consolidated Properties Group
  • Mark Crosland at Aviator Capital
  • Sam Gardner at Gardner Vaughan Group
  • Caitlan French at Westpac
