The Property Council of Australia (ACT Division) is pleased to provide a submission to the inquiry into the Property Developers Bill 2023, providing a regulatory regime for ‘developer licensing’.
We have engaged with the Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate (EPSDD) in good faith since August 2023 when the policy position was first presented to us. We have grave concerns with the current policy working and believe this will have a serious impact on our residential sector and more generally risk future investment in the Territory.
