Economic Entitlements Provisions Impact on Retirement Villages

The Taxation Acts 2019 made changes to the economic entitlement provisions of the Duties Act 2000. Since the announcement of the proposed changes in the State Budget, the Property Council has advocated to the State Revenue Office on its members behalf and raised a number of instances where economic entitlement provisions result in inconsistencies and unintended consequences.
