Queensland Division's advocacy bolstered by start of new Deputy Executive Director.

Thursday 9 May marked the first day as Queensland Deputy Executive Director for Jonathan Pavetto, who has already hit the ground running with a focus on the upcoming Queensland election.

Most recently a senior economist and market leader at a national economics and finance consulting firm, AEC Group and a member of our Townsville committee, Jonathan comes to the Property Council with a unique background in research and evidence-based advocacy and has a strong appreciation of the issues and opportunities in the property sector across Queensland.

In his role as Deputy Executive Director, Jonathan will work closely with our Executive Director Jess Caire to lead our policy and advocacy work as well as driving member engagement and supporting the work of several committees.

Outside of the Property Council Jonathan is a Specialist Service Officer in the Australian Army  (Major, Public Affairs. Reserves) and is a volunteer rural fire fighter.
