The Queensland Government announced the appointment of Paul Williams as the new Under Treasurer on 14 February 2025.
Mr Williams joins Treasury following an extensive career in banking and finance in Australia and overseas, including as Chief Financial Officer at People First Bank.
He has previously worked in capital markets and the property industry.
The Under Treasurer leads Queensland Treasury and works alongside the government to implement key fiscal and economic policy for the State.
The Property Council congratulates Mr Williams on his appointment and looks forward to fostering a strong working relationship with him on behalf of our members.
