The Property Council congratulates the newly announced Ministers

The new Liberal-National Government has sworn in its cabinet.

The Ministers in the new government are:

  • David Crisafulli – Premier; Minister for Veterans
  • Jarrod Bleijie – Deputy Premier; State Development, Infrastructure and Planning; Industrial Relations
  • David Janetzki – Treasurer; Energy; Home Ownership
  • Ros Bates – Finance, Trade, Employment and Training
  • Dale Last  – Natural Resources and Mines; Manufacturing; Minister for Regional and Rural Development  
  • Tim Nicholls – Health and Ambulance Services 
  • Deb Frecklington  – Attorney-General; Justice; Integrity 
  • John-Paul Langbroek – Education and the Arts
  • Dan Purdie – Police and Emergency Services 
  • Laura Gerber – Youth Justice and Victim Support; Corrective Services 
  • Brent Mickelberg – Transport and Main Roads
  • Ann Leahy – Local Government and Water; Fire, Disaster Recovery and Volunteers
  • Sam O’Connor – Housing and Public Works; Youth 
  • Tony Perrett – Primary Industries
  • Fiona Simpson – Women and Women’s Economic Security; Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships; Multiculturalism
  • Andrew Powell  – Environment and Tourism; Science and Innovation
  • Amanda Camm – Families, Seniors and Disability Services; Minister for Child Safety and the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence

  • Steven Minnikin – Customer Services and Open Data; Small and Family Business 

The Property Council congratulates the newly announced Ministers on their appointment and looks forward to working with them on the challenges and opportunities facing Queensland’s property sector.

We have written to the newly announced Ministers to congratulate them and to champion the key initiatives contained in our Be a Queenslander election strategy to ensure we can continue momentum during the transition.

Labor is expected to announce their new shadow ministry in the coming weeks after which the Property Council will write to the newly appointed Shadow Ministry.
