Have your say on the Kurilpa Sustainable Growth Precinct TLPI

On 6 June 2023, Brisbane City Council (BCC) announced it will introduce a Temporary Local Planning Instrument (TLPI) for its Sustainable Growth Precinct.

The BCC is now seeking feedback on the measures proposed in the TLPI – consultation closes on 26 July 2023.

The Kurilpa Sustainable Growth Precinct Plan identifies eight areas across the precinct that allow a range of heights in exchange for certain planning outcomes, including:

  • Green Building Council of Australia’s 5-star Green Star rating category.
  • Increased greenery through the introduction of a higher green plot ratio.
  • More expansive green space, public realms, open spaces and pedestrian plazas.
  • Investment in public art and creative lighting.

In addition to the survey written submissions are also accepted.
