On Monday 9 September, Brisbane City Council’s Civic Cabinet endorsed Kerrie Freeman to be Council’s next Chief Executive Officer.
Freeman is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network in South Australia.
Prior to working in South Australia, Freeman held a number of leadership roles across Queensland’s health system.
The decision to endorse Freeman for the top job follows a national search to fill the role after Colin Jensen announced his resignation in April after more than a decade in the role.
