The state government is now inviting applications for the $350 million Incentivising Infill Development Fund announced in February this year.
A component of the government’s Homes for Queenslanders the fund aims to accelerate new development by providing infrastructure relief for market ready eligible projects.
To qualify for funding, proposals must demonstrate returns to the Queensland community by facilitating more diverse, more affordable and well-located housing options.
Priority will be given to projects that can demonstrate:
- Development ready
- Deliver affordable housing
- Include or support gentle density housing.
Applications opened on 10 June 2024 and will be assessed on a first-in basis until funding is expended.
