This award is only applicable to individual nominations. Team entries are ineligible for this award as are self nominations.
For individuals who contribute significantly and consistently to the property industry beyond their own organisation, over an extended period of time, and for the purpose of advancing the industry and its people through knowledge sharing, advocacy and/or leadership.
Winners of this award are exemplary industry leaders and have a strong profile, reputation and are universally respected in the industry.
Criteria
Career profile – (Limit 800 words) – 50% weighting
Outline the entrant’s career profile with a focus on their contribution and leadership, both within, and beyond their own organisation, to advance the standing and reputation of the broader property industry and its people.
Include details such as:
- Employment history
- Examples of knowledge sharing, advocacy and or/leadership
- Internal business contributions and contributions to the industry (eg. Committee / board appointments).
Industry contribution – (Limit 800 words) – 50% weighting
Describe how the entrant has significantly contributed to the broader property industry, including details such as:
- Specific examples of the entrant’s contribution to the broader property industry, including knowledge sharing, advocacy and/or leadership
- The impact their actions has had on people within the broader property industry. Provide supporting evidence from those that have witnessed and benefitted from their leadership (Please provide a minimum of three referees below, preferably not all from the same organisation).
- Challenges faced and how they were resolved
- Testimonials, press articles, awards and certificates can be upload as supporting documents.
Referee/testimonial interview
Please provide contact details of THREE industry referee who will support this nomination. Referees will only be called if additional information is required.
Note
Please note nominations MUST be submitted by COB Friday, 14 March 2025.
All nominations will go through a comprehensive judging process prior to finalists and winners being selected.
The judges will be made up from representatives from the Division Council and other senior executives from the Property industry.
The decision of the judging panel is final and no communication will be entered into concerning the final decision.
Finalists will only be contact by the judges for an interview should more information be required to assist in the assessment of your nomination.
If enough applications are not received for any of the award categories, the Property Council reserves the right not to award a winner.
