Resort-style facilities and harbourside living are on offer at affordable price points at Nautilus, a new apartment development taking pride of place at The Waterfront, Shell Cove.
Why we love this project:

Located in an absolute harbourfront position, Nautilus will comprise 116 apartments in a mix of one, two and three-bedroom layouts offering water views and true harbourside living in the masterplanned community.
Almost every apartment offers views of the harbour and some with views of the ocean.
Two apartments with large balconies in the upper levels of Nautilus were among the first to be sold, for $2.150 million and $2.265 million respectively.
“While we were always optimistic about strong demand for the premium apartments at Nautilus, the level of interest, particularly from local buyers who dominated the sales, has exceeded our expectations,” says Frasers Property Australia development director Simone Dyer.
Located 90 kilometres south of Sydney, Nautilus is “unlike anything ever offered before on the South Coast and local people particularly recognise this,” Dyer adds.
“The convenient, connected waterside lifestyle also appeals to younger buyers. There’s a noticeable trend of younger people seeking low-maintenance apartment living with easy access to a full range of amenities, among beautiful natural surrounds.”
Nautilus residents will enjoy a resort-style pool, private gym and rooftop terrace, with a town centre, tavern and restaurants at their doorstep, all within an easy walk of the beach.
One-bedroom apartments are priced from $550,000 to $590,000, two-bedroom apartments are $650,000 to $935,000 and three-bedroom harbourfront apartments are priced from $1,150,000 to $1,750,000.
“The attractive entry price point for these harbourside apartments has also provided an opportunity for first home buyers for whom harbourside living would otherwise have been a pipedream,” Dyer explains.
Designed by Smart Design Studio, Nautilus comprises two buildings of six and four storeys connected by a common podium, with a luxurious resort-style pool surrounded by lush, landscaped gardens.
An expansive roof top terrace will capture stunning views of the dramatic Illawarra escarpment.
Inside the open-plan apartments, floor to ceiling windows offer natural light and unbroken views across the marina and coastline, while cross flow ventilation invites sea breezes.
Subject to approval, construction of Nautilus is expected to commence in the first half of 2021. Completion of Nautilus is scheduled for late 2023.
