Rebecca Want joins GHD as transport market leader, Sekisui House appoints Jeff Cummings, Greg Hayes joins Ingenia Communities and TM Insight acquires Xact Solutions.
Rebecca Want has joined professional services company GHD as transport market leader for Sydney. Want has metro and heavy rail industry knowledge, both technical and non-technical, across all dimensions of the infrastructure project lifecycle. She has worked on Airport Rail Link, Epping Chatswood Rail Link and the Sydney Metro program and several major tunnelling projects. Want moves from GTA Consultants, where she was a director and regional head.
Residential property developer Sekisui House Australia has appointed Jeff Cummings as non-executive director to build on its growth over the past 11 years. Cummings will be responsible for strategic advice, expanding the company’s network, and managing corporate governance. Cummings has held leadership, managerial and advisory roles at Essington Development Limited, Pioneer Homes Australia, Devine Group, and The Urban Partnership. Sekisui House Australia has four active projects in New South Wales and five in Queensland.
Greg Hayes has joined Ingenia Communities as an independent non-executive director. Hayes brings three decades of experience in senior executive roles, including stints as chief financial officer and executive director of Brambles Limited, CEO of Tenix Pty Ltd, CFO and interim CEO of the Australian Gaslight Company (AGL), CFO of Westfield Holdings, and executive general manager, finance of Southcorp Limited. He is currently a non-executive director of Home Consortium, Aurrum Holdings, High Resolves and the Precision Group.
Property and supply chain specialist TM Insight has acquired XAct Solutions, a privately held Australian consultancy in supply chain and industrial property. Founded in 2005, by Geoff Thomas, Peter Ramsay and Byron Patching, XAct Solutions has a presence across Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Tokyo. TM Insight, led by chief executive officer and co-founder Travis Erridge, has offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Singapore.
