Nick Moore joins JLL as head of sales for workforce dynamics, RLB promotes Raed Mitry and Nav Nadarajah and Matt and Simone Rennie set up Rennie Partners to help companies meet net zero emissions.
Nick Moore joins JLL as its new head of sales for work dynamics across Australasia. Moore has worked in private, listed and multinational companies in workplace solutions, facilities management and project delivery services. He is currently chair of the NSW branch of the Facility Management Association.
Rider Levett Bucknall has made two promotions in its Queensland infrastructure team: Raed Mitry and Nav Nadarajah. RLB managing director Matt Long says the promotions recognise the pair’s long-standing contributions to RLB’s infrastructure work and will accelerate RLB’s market-leading position as Queensland readies for a surge in infrastructure investment. Mitry, now technical director of infrastructure, has led teams on complex and high-profile projects including Inland Rail and Brisbane Metro, while Nadarajah, now senior associate, has also worked on the Sunshine Coast Light Rail and the high capacity metro train in Victoria.
Matt Rennie, formerly head of EY’s Australian power and utilities business, and Simone Rennie, manager of energy market regulation at Australian Energy Market Operator, will help companies achieve net zero emissions. The husband-and-wife team has established Rennie Partners to offer regulatory, strategy and projects guidance.
Think tank the Grattan Institute has a new chair, Lindsay Maxsted. Also chair of Transurban, and the former chair of Westpac and chief executive of KPMG, Maxsted steps into the role following Alex Chernov’s retirement in November after five years in the position.
Knight Frank appoints Duncan Schieb as senior sales executive in its prestige residential team as the market goes from strength to strength. Schieb has enjoyed a 25-year career in real estate, with stints in the UK, Hong Kong, the USA and Sydney. He was most recently prestige property sales advisor at Christie’s International Real Estate in Sydney. A former auctioneer, he also spent a decade running his own company producing luxury brand videos. Knight Frank’s most recent Prime Global Forecast 2021 found luxury prices in Sydney were expected to rise by 10 per cent over the year.
James Ruben is m3property’s new national director of special use, following a promotion. Ruben joined the valuation and advisory firm in 2019 as a director. A qualified valuer, Ruben has extensive experience in the valuation of special use assets, such as service stations, childcare centres, hotels and boarding houses.
