Megan Motto joins the Governance Institute of Australia as its new CEO, Arcadis expands its sustainability team and Knight Frank, Hayball and Ray White Group make key appointments.
Governance Institute of Australia has appointed Megan Motto as its new chief executive officer. Motto was the long-serving CEO of Consult Australia and sits on the boards of Standards Australia and the Committee for Economic Development of Australia. Governance Institute of Australia is an independent professional association focused on whole-of-organisation governance — best practice culture and ethics from the boardroom to the staff room. Motto will commence her role in January 2019.
Jackie Thomas has rejoined Knight Frank in a new role as Victorian head of information for the agency’s valuation and advisory arm. Thomas’s appointment follows a $300,000 investment in information technology in Victoria over the last two years. Meanwhile Aaron Kelly has been elevated to partner after having commenced with Knight Frank as an assistant from university in 2010. Kelly’s experience covers commercial, retail, going concerns and development valuations specialising in neighbourhood and sub-regional shopping centres.
Architecture firm Hayball has appointed a new director, David Tordoff, amid a period of growth. Tordoff joined the practice in 2015 to establish Hayball’s Sydney studio and now sits alongside 35 architects and support staff.
After two years running Ray White Group’s 90-strong office network in Sydney Metro, Andrew Crauford, is returning to the field and his old stomping ground of Cherrybrook in Sydney’s north west. Crauford, who has more than a decade’s experience as an advertising media strategist, returns to the role of sales agent. Andrew McCulloch, Ray White’s top recruiter, has been appointed CEO of Ray White Sydney Metro.
