Atlas has appointed former chief of Woods Bagot, David Tregoning, as advisor. Charlie Reid heads up BlackRock’s renewable energy franchise in the region, and Knight Frank promotes Benjamin Veale to partner.

Global architecture and engineering outsourcing service supplier, Atlas, has appointed David Tregoning (pictured) as its advisor in Australia. Tregoning was chief executive of Woods Bagot for nearly two decades, and now operates as an industry advisor. Meanwhile Levi Naas has joined Atlas as a director, based in Sydney. Naas has previously worked in innovation roles with Rawson Group and the Lean Construction Institute. Atlas has recently delivered digital projects for Sydney Crown Casino and the North West Rail project.

Charlie Reid is the new managing director of the BlackRock Real Assets Asia Pacific renewable energy franchise. Reid, who was previously portfolio manager for BlackRock Renewable Power’s investment team in London, will be responsible for sourcing, executing and managing renewable infrastructure assets in the Asia Pacific.

Benjamin Veale has been promoted to partner, head of facilities management, at Knight Frank. Prior to joining Knight Frank in 2016, Veale spent five year in facilities and operations management for Frasers Property Australia.

John Nesbitt has been appointed non-executive director of not-for-profit community housing provider Evolve Housing. Nesbitt was most recently chief executive officer at Suncorp Baking and Wealth. Evolve Housing has more than 3,400 community properties under management in New South Wales.

Cushman & Wakefield has expanded its capital markets team in NSW with the appointment of associate director Daniel Courtnall and manager Daniel Francis. Moving across from Knight Frank, Courtnall and Francis will focus on commercial transactions in Sydney’s CBD and fringe office markets, as well as freehold and strata deals for private and institutional clients.

David Young Choi, Domain Group’s former director of corporate and enterprise, has been appointed chief commercial officer of real estate communications platform ActivePipe. Choi has worked with Fairfax Media, News limited, REA Group, and was a founding member and CCO for open-for-inspection application Homepass.
