Mainbrace has appointed industry stalwart John Warn to its board, while TSA Management has two new directors: Dori Petrides and Mark Hays. Meanwhile, Judd Last joins Piper Alderman.

Retail construction specialist Mainbrace has appointed John Warn to its board as a non-executive director. Warn boasts an extensive retail resume featuring stints with Westfield, David Jones and Westpac. Most recently, he was group general manager for customer experience at Westfield. Warn is also the current chairman of Destination NSW.

Project management company TSA Group has two new board directors: Dori Petrides and Mark Hays. Petridies, the group’s first female board director, joined in June 2018 as general manager responsible for people and culture. She spent nearly a decade leading human resources with property giant Grosvenor. Hays also joined TSA in 2018 as the group’s CFO, and has worked with both privately-owned and ASX-listed businesses in a variety of sectors including professional services, health, technology, financial services and hospitality.

Judd Last has joined commercial law firm Piper Alderman as a real estate partner in Brisbane. Last, who moves across from ClarkeKann Lawyers, has niche expertise in aged care and senior living within both the commercial and not-for-profit sectors.

Architect, educator, practitioner and researcher Professor Chris Knapp will commence at Bond University as head of the Abedian School of Architecture in May. Knapp is currently the inaugural chair of architecture at Western Sydney University. Prior to this, he played a significant role establishing the architecture program at Bond University.

After more than a decade with engineering firm WSP, the last two as director of sustainability, Richard Palmer is moving to Integral Group. Palmer was recruited by former colleague Andrew Mather, Integral Group’s managing director, who was previously chief executive and managing director of WSP in the Asia Pacific.

In other engineering movements, Northrop has appointed Pratik Shah to head up its building performance and wellness work. Shah was previously wellness and sustainability manager with WT Consultancy for nearly four years.
