Shane Cook will lead CBRE’s large format retail team, Frank Oliveri joins Colliers to lead its growth plans in Western Sydney and Savills appoints Ken Ng as head of its project management division.
CBRE has promoted Shane Cook (pictured left) to the position of national director of large format retail. Cook joined the large format retail team as a negotiator in 2008 and has since worked his way up with six promotions. Cook will lead a team of 10 specialist leasing agents nationally who support key clients including Harvey Norman.
Meanwhile, CBRE has appointed Jason Orenbuch to head its suburban retail strip business in Melbourne. Orenbuch will be responsible for leasing services to retail strip landlords across Victoria, and joins CBRE from Melbourne-based developer Caydon Property.
Frank Oliveri has joined Colliers International to lead its ambitious growth plans in Western Sydney. Oliveri joins Colliers from CBRE, where he was the managing director for the Western Sydney, North Sydney and South Sydney offices. He has spent the past 11 years specialising in investment sales within the Western Sydney and greater metropolitan markets. Oliveri served as a councillor on the Fairfield City Council for 17 years and was director of the Western Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils for six years.
Savills Australia has appointed Ken Ng as national head of its project management division. Ng has spent 15 years with Savills, joining the team as a project director in 2010 when the business acquired Incoll. Arron Fischer is stepping into Ng’s shoes as Queensland project management state director.
Michele Vella joined security service Constant as its new chief financial officer last month. Vella, a chartered accountant, spent nearly a decade as a business consultant support business restructuring and turnarounds across a range of industries. She has previously worked for second tier accounting firms and was the financial controller at JAXQuickfit Tyres.
