Kit Georgeos joins AMP Capital as fund manager, Linda Rudd joins Knight Frank’s board of directors and Urbis appoints Bruce Coleman to its growing Western Sydney team.
AMP Capital has announced the appointment of Kit Georgeos as the fund manager for the AMP Capital’s flagship wholesale office fund which manages more than $6 billion in premium office assets. Georgeos joins AMP Capital from The GPT Group, where she has been deputy fund manager for the last three and a half years. Prior to that she was head of product development for funds management, leading the launch of the GPT Metro Office fund which listed in October 2014. Georgeos also held the role of associate director of real estate with Macquarie Bank for eight years.
Linda Rudd, partner and national head of asset management services at Knight Frank Australia, has 
joined the board of directors. The move follows Rod Leaver’s appointment as CEO in May, and a broader restructure which has introduced “different experiences and ways of thinking” to the board, Knight Frank says. Rudd is a Property Council committee member in NSW.
Urbis has appointed director Bruce Colman (pictured above), an urban planner who brings more than 25 years of experience in managing complex planning projects. Colman, who will provide strategic advice on growth in Western Sydney, was the former director of land release at the NSW Department of Planning Industry and Environment. Colman was also involved in the master planning along the Sydney Harbour Foreshore.
Three outstanding retirement living managers are in the hunt for the Programmed Award for Village Manager of the Year at the National Retirement Living Awards in November. Lesley Carron took home the Queensland state award for her work overseeing Lendlease’s 310-unit village at The Lakes in Bundaberg. Paul Elson was presented with the accolade in Western Australia for his commitment to continuous improvement at Arcadia Waters in Geraldton. And Julie Ramage, state winner for ACT and NSW, was feted for her decade of experience across RetireAustralia’s portfolio, most recently at Forresters Beach Retirement Village on the Central Coast.
