Infrastructure Australia has four new board members: Mark Balnaves, John Fitzgerald, Marion Fulker and Graham Quirk. AMP Capital welcomes Antony Keenan, Nick Willis Joins JLL and Dexus appoints Pip Harley to lead social sustainability.
The Australian Government has appointed four new members to the Infrastructure Australia board. Mark Balnaves is currently a director of accountancy firm Evans + Ayers, and previously advised on major projects including the new Royal Adelaide Hospital. John Fitzgerald was previously interim CEO of Infrastructure Australia and is currently a director of the Victorian Funds Management Corporation, non-executive chairman several organisations: Evolution Rail Pty Ltd, Suburban Land Agency (ACT), InfraNexus Management Pty Ltd and Canberra Light Rail. Marion Fulker was the inaugural chief executive of the Committee for Perth Ltd and an adjunct senior research fellow at the University of Western Australia. Graham Quirk, who served as the 16th lord mayor of Brisbane, brings an in-depth understanding of local government to the board.
AMP Capital welcomes Antony Keenan to the shopping centre retail team as general manager, property management, retail. Keenan, who has held strategic leadership roles with The GPT Group, Scentre Group, Westfield and ALDI, will be responsible for the leadership of the retail property management team and will report to AMP Capital’s new head of retail and investments, Marco Ettorre, who moves across from Lendlease.
Nick Willis is JLL’s new director of national retail investments. Willis, who is based in Sydney, moves across from CBRE where he led theNew South Wales retail investments business division for four years. Willis will work alongside senior directors, Sam Hatcher and Jacob Swan, who were jointly appointed to lead the JLL national retail investments team earlier this year. Further recent appointments include Sam Linden (formerly m3property) in the role of senior retail analyst, Hannah Brisbane (ex-CBRE) in the role of retail investments operations manager and Tracy Tam who joins JLL from Savills Australia in the role of senior retail analyst.
Dexus has a new social sustainability manager. Pip Harley has been appointed to Australia’s largest office landlord after eight years with the City of Sydney. Harley was most recently responsible for delivering the City’s five-year strategy to reduce carbon emissions, water use and waste in Sydney’s accommodation and entertainment sector.
Alan Dalgleish is moving on from the ANREV, the Asian association for investors in non-listed real estate vehicles. After eight years with ANREV, six as CEO, Dalgleish will pursue other opportunities. He has held senior roles in capital markets several large agencies in Asia, including CB Richard Ellis and Colliers International. Dalgleish is a non-executive director of GRESB, which publishes the annual global real estate sustainability benchmark. Past chief executive and current representative for ANREV in Europe, Jeremy Stewardson, will assume responsibility for leading the association as chief executive, and will be based in Hong Kong from the new year.
After two years heading up sustainability at CBUS Property, Lorraine Moore has moved to APN Property Group. Moore was previously an energy consultant with Energetics and a senior strategy advisor with Cushman & Wakefield.
