Shane Hamilton will lead Australia’s largest Indigenous-owned property services company, Evolve FM, while Duo Projects appoints Marcus Abbott as director and CBRE promotes David Tucker and Louise Draper.
Australia’s largest Indigenous-owned property services company, Evolve FM, welcomes new CEO Shane Hamilton. The former CEO of the NSW Aboriginal Housing Office, Hamilton joins Evolve FM from his role as the head of PwC’s Indigenous consulting in NSW and ACT. Evolve FM is jointly owned by privately-held Indigenous-owned building and construction company PSG Holdings and public company, JLL.
Project and development management consultancy Duo Projects has appointed Marcus Abbott as director. Abbott has been with the company for more than a decade. During that time, he has been instrumental in the delivery of 80 Collins Street mixed-use development for QIC and Dexus, the Swanston Central residential project for Hengyi and the new Hilton Melbourne on Little Queen Street.
CBRE has appointed David Tucker to lead its Queensland property management business. Tucker will relocate from Melbourne – where he has been working as facilities management director for CBRE’s Victorian business – to take on the new role as senior director. The appointment follows the promotion of Louise Draper to head CBRE’s property management business in Western Australia last month.
Richard Norman, JLL’s director of office leasing, has transitioned to the CBD office leasing team following 13 years working the St Kilda Road and city fringe leasing markets with JLL. The move accommodates increasing, with the Melbourne CBD office market now at a 30-year record low.
Alan Davis has joined Mott MacDonald as Australian sustainability lead built environment. Davis has held senior sustainability roles at WSP in both Australia and the US.
