Development manager Allison Mahlberg joins Avenor, Rick Holliday-Smith steps down from Servorp’s board and legal firm Ashurst appoints real estate specialist Tim Mathers to its team.
Allison Mahlberg has joined property development, investment and services firm Avenor as a development manager. Mahlberg’s experience spans a broad range of asset classes from, most recently as development manager with Landcom. She spent nearly six years with real estate agency CBRE and two with affordable housing not-for-profit SGCH.
Rick Holliday-Smith will step down from his role as non-executive director of serviced offices and co-working space operator Servcorp after two decades on the board. A director of Servcorp since its IPO in 1999, Holliday-Smith has been chairman of the audit and risk committee. Tony McGrath will take over the role of the committee’s chairman. Servcorp operates 146 floors in 52 cities across 22 countries.
International law firm Ashurst has appointed Tim Mathers as partner in its real estate practice in Brisbane. Mathews joins from DLA Piper, where he was head of real estate in Australia since 2017. Prior to DLA Piper, Mathers worked at King & Wood Mallesons and Herbert Smith Freehills.
