Roger Teale, Jude Munro AO and Stan Krpan will co-chair the new Building Victoria’s Recovery Taskforce. Meanwhile Calibre, MNG and BGIS make strategic appointments.
Roger Teale, former Property Council president in Victoria, has been appointed co-chair of the new Building Victoria’s Recovery Taskforce. The dedicated taskforce was established by the Victorian Government last week to investigate planning and investment opportunities to boost the state’s building and development industry. Teale, former head of market for Lendlease in Victoria, joins other co-chairs Jude Munro AO, chair of the Victorian Planning Authority, and Solar Victoria’s CEO Stan Krpan.
Julie Stanley has joined diversified professional services, construction and maintenance specialist Calibre. Stanley, who takes on the role of executive general manager for professional services in Australia, has experience leading engineering and major infrastructure service sectors, most recently with Aurecon and Jacobs.
Alan Prudames has joined the board of survey and spatial information company MNG as a non-executive director. Prudames brings over 40 years of experience in the survey and property development industries, most recently with Veris Australia and RPS.
BGIS Australia has appointed Craig Humphries as state director for Victoria, South Australia, the ACT and Tasmania. Humphries was most recently head of operations with Hendry Group. He has held previous roles with the Mornington Peninsular Shire Council, Honeywell, Spotless and Department of Corrections NZ. BGIS, formerly known as Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions, provides real estate, project and facility management services across the world.
Arcadia Landscape Architecture has established a new team in Melbourne led by principal Nelson Gome. The studio, which already has offices in Sydney and Brisbane, has welcomed Duyen Nguyen, Veronica Carrasco and Michelle Thomas Zacharias.
Valentina Petrone is WSP’s new associate property specialist, sustainability and waste. A former senior environmental consultant with Encycle Consulting, Petrone is a great industry contributor, and was part of the Property Council’s 50 Women in Property in 2019.
