Anthony Boyd is set to step into Rod Fehring’s shoes at Frasers Property Australia, while Michelle Reynolds joins the City of Perth as CEO and Savills makes a raft of promotions.
Anthony Boyd has been appointed chief executive officer of Frasers Property Australia, taking over from Rod Fehring on 1 October as part of a planned succession. Boyd, who has been with Frasers Property Australia since 2005, is currently chief financial officer. Fehring will remain on the board of directors of Frasers Property Australia as the newly-appointed executive chairman and will continue to serve as chairman of the management boards of Frasers Property Industrial and Frasers Property UK. Fehring will succeed Olivier Lim who will step down as non-executive chairman of Frasers Property Australia and remain advisor to the group.
Michelle Reynolds has been appointed chief executive officer of the City of Perth. Reynolds is the current executive director of Rottnest Island Authority. She has previously served as the CEO of WorkCover WA and has worked with the Department of Premier and Cabinet and State Emergency Management Committee. Reynolds, who commences in August, will replace current CEO Murray Jorgensen who joined the City in November 2018 to assist with corporate reform and recovery.
Savills has announced a raft of promotions and title changes. Carley Finn and Neil Gardner have both been promoted to associate directors, while Atena Malamiri, Nicholas Clay, Emma Viljoen, Penny Blunden, Georgia White and Amanda Beutel step up to the role of project director. Holly Rhodes, Hendrick Van Wyk, James Collins, Anthea Hehir and Leigh McQuade are now senior project managers. Jaber Shah and Jarrad Fairlie have been elevated to project managers. Maxwell Cartwright and Taha Qureshi are now assistant project managers. Amanda Giles has been promoted to office manager. Savills advisory team has two title changes: Alissan Serra’s new title is senior consultant, and Elyshia Rodrigues’ is consultant.
Sam Montano joins the team at Avenue Executive as research manager. Avenue Executive is a boutique search firm specialising in the property and infrastructure sectors.
Colliers International has appointed Henry Burke as national director for development sites. Burke has spent the last nine years managing Colliers’ Sydney North investment services division, transacting upwards of $1 billion in sales over the last five years alone. Burke joins the NSW residential development sites team, led by Guillaume Volz and Eugene White.
Ashleigh Gay has joined Edge Environment as head of sustainability. Gay most recently ran the sustainability practice of Radley Yeldar in the UK. She has also worked in sustainability roles with InfraBuild, formerly LIBERTY OneSteel.
James Hunt is Schneider Electric’s new vice president of Power Systems across the Pacific region following a promotion from the role of general manager for solutions sales. Schneider Electric specialises in digital transformation of energy management and automation in homes, buildings, data centres, infrastructure and industries.
Civil construction company Moits has appointed industry veteran Dale Clark as its chief executive officer. Clark led Stockland’s project management division for more than eight years, and has worked in various roles with Macquarie University, Hooker Cockram, Baulderstone and Lendlease. The Moits founders have also established an advisory board with former Watpac managing director Martin Monro at the helm.
Caroline Squires recently joined Arup as associate principal and city economics lead in its economics planning and design division. A built environment specialist, Squires has held roles CBRE, EY and Ethos Urban.
