CBRE has hired Ritika Diwan as a Director in its Sydney-based Capital Markets team to help CBRE Hotels grow its business.

Diwan, a specialist in investment and asset management, comes to Australia with more than 15 years of experience in the Indian hotel industry where she spent the last nine years working for SAMHI Hotels.

She earlier worked within McKinsey & Company’s business research division, developing recommendations to support clients in their decision-making processes.

Lily Swan has been added to the Canberra team at JLL as an Office Leasing Executive.

She comes to JLL from Blackshaw Real Estate, which will help the team’s knowledge and skills in one of Australia’s most resilient office markets.

Colliers has appointed Kathleen Stubbs, Regional Director, Information Technology | Asia Pacific to be based in Sydney.

She joins Colliers from JLL, where she served as the Head of Technology Operations for APAC and the Chief Information Officer for ANZ. Stubbs has worked for professional services firms such as EY, Herbert Smith Freehills, Knight Frank, and Telstra, with the last 10 years seeing her primary focus in the real estate industry.

Ian Burrows has returned to Cygnet West and will now serve as Director of Facility Management and Project Management Services.

Following three other recent hires, Burrows has returned to Cygnet West’s Facility and Project Management division, which has recently been awarded sizeable new scopes of work from clients like Fiveight, Frasers Suites, and Reading Cinemas.

With the addition of Clinton Turner as Senior Leasing and Sales Executive, Cygnet West’s retail agency team has expanded as well.

John Gunthorpe has been hired by independent property valuation and advisory company Herron Todd White to serve as director of agribusiness in Victoria and Tasmania.

Gunthorpe just got back from the UK, where he spent the previous seven years valuing a variety of assets for the agribusiness industry. He developed expertise in renewable energy and airport infrastructure assets while serving as director of valuation and advisory services at CBRE, including the expansion of Heathrow Airport.

Woolworths Group has announced the resignation of Claire Peters, Managing Director B2B & Everyday Needs. She has been appointed Vice President World Wide – Amazon Fresh, based in Seattle and will commence her new role at the beginning of 2023. Peters will remain with the business for the rest of the calendar year.

Rhys Reynolds has been appointed as the National Communications Manager, Corporate Affairs at Lendlease. He has over 10 years of PR, communications, and marketing experience.

Over at Momentum Wealth, Jack Dunkeld has started a new position as a Property Analyst.
