Andrew Ballantyne, the head of research for JLL in Australasia, has been promoted to assume the position of Managing Director of New South Wales, a position of additional senior management and leadership within the JLL organisation.

 

Ballantyne has been a respected industry economist, consultant, and leader in the property market for 15 years at JLL. He also oversees the division of research for the region. In addition to his new position as Managing Director – NSW, he will continue to oversee JLL’s team of 27 researchers throughout Australasia.

 

He takes over the role from Dan Kernaghan, who moved into the Australian CEO role in April.

 

With Mark Hansen’s internal cross-border promotion to International Director, Capital Markets/Investment Sales and relocation from Sydney to Singapore, Cushman & Wakefield is further expanding its presence in the Asia Pacific region.

 

Having worked in the Australian capital markets for more than 15 years, Hansen has directly worked on and co-brokered some of the largest office properties throughout the Pacific, including those in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra, Auckland, and Wellington.

 

Starting on October 3, Brooke Donnelly will serve as Coles’ General Manager of Sustainability, supporting the rollout of circular economy initiatives throughout the company’s supply chain. Donnelly has 25 years of experience, and her most recent position was as the Australian Packaging Covenant Organization’s CEO.

 

The expanding portfolio of retail centres managed by Lease Equity will be supervised by Erica Campbell, Director of Property Management (Shopping Centers).

 

The company’s marketing and digital strategies will be further developed by Angela Dawson, Corporate Marketing and Communications Executive.

 

Arcadis, a global design and consulting firm, has announced new hires for its APAC transport planning team. The new sales director will be Cindy Williams, who has over 20 years of experience in consulting and government work.

 

Nicole Vukic, who has more than 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors, will serve as the nation’s business leader for transportation planning and advisory.

 

Michael Downing has been appointed as the Business Leader for Project Management, Construction Management, and Independent Assurance Services.

 

Matthew Moore, Associate in Landscape Architecture, and Owen Richards, Global Environment Leader, are both welcomed at McGregor Coxall’s Brisbane Studio.

 

Along with Richard’s 26 years of environmental, civil, and water engineering experience, Moore brings more than 13 years of experience as a landscape architect—a most fruitful blue-green pairing that is emblematic of McGregor Coxall’s interdisciplinary approach.

 

Caroline Stalker has been made Principal Architect at Hassell’s Brisbane office.

 

Graham Lowe, a Health Project Specialist, has been promoted to associate at the business.

 

Elizabeth Nel, who formerly held the post of Senior Architect, is another new colleague on the list.

 

Jaclyn Sun has been promoted to Associate after working her way through the ranks for three years.

 

Jonathan Irawan has been promoted to the position of Associate, Computational Design Lead at the business.

Carolyn Hill has started a new position as Senior Manager Affiliate Marketing and Communications at NBN Australia
