The Property Council of Australia has announced that company director and former legal executive Cath Evans will be the organisation’s new Victorian Executive Director.

Ms Evans joined the organisation in an interim capacity in September and her appointment follows an extensive search process.

Ms Evans has been a practicing litigation lawyer and CEO/COO of large ASX listed professional services firms, operating in both Australia and the UK. She is also a company director and currently chairs a NFP board for an organisation providing family violence and homelessness services.

Meanwhile, Ross Grove has been named acting Executive Director in the ACT. He was the first to hold the position of Western Sydney Executive Director.

Sarah Thompson has begun a new job at Lendlease as a development manager in the apartments team, after leaving Sheargold, where she was in charge of developing the Parry’s Cove master-planned community on the Myall River in Tea Gardens, NSW.

Olywn Conrau has started a new position as National PR and Communications Co-ordinator at Burgess Rawson.

Olivia Bilson has been appointed as Public Affairs Manager at Australian Unity.

Cbus Super has revealed that its retirement fund’s head has left to join AustralianSuper.

Jon Sedawie has been hired as the country’s largest superannuation fund’s primary retirement product.

Craig Townsend has joined Cushman & Wakefield’s WA team as Associate Director – Client Services within the Project and Development Services Division.
