JLL has expanded its Office Leasing team in North Sydney with two key strategic new appointments.

Anthony Merrett joins JLL in the role of Director from CI Australia and brings with him more than 15 years’ experience in office leasing within the North Sydney and North Shore markets.

Also hailing from CI Australia, Dominic Au-Yeung joins JLL in the role of Senior Executive, with more than five years’ experience in office leasing, operating within Northern Sydney. Dominic has received nominations for several industry recognition awards such as Achievement (REINSW Awards of Excellence 2022) and Young Achiever of the Year (RICS Awards 2022).

Knight Frank has expanded its Valuations and Advisory reach with the appointment of Julian Whiston as Partner, National Hotels and Hospitality.

The appointment marks the real estate consultancy’s move to grow and enhance its position within the hotels and hospitality sector within its Valuations and Advisory service line. Prior to joining Knight Frank, Mr Whiston was Managing Director and Joint Head of JLL’s national Hotels and Hospitality Valuation Advisory division.

Colliers has welcomed Martin Blaszczyk to lead the Queensland Tenant Advisory team.

As National Director of Tenant Advisory, he has more than 20 years’ experience in commercial and industrial assets and will extend the team’s service offering on market analysis, office repositioning, portfolio strategy, and subleasing and disposal strategies for local, regional and global clients.

Mr Blaszczyk joins Colliers from Dexus, where he worked as the Queensland General Manager of Office Leasing.

Ranisha Clarke has been appointment Managing Director of Lendlease’s Communities business.

Meanwhile, Garry Wilcox, has been announced as Lendlease’s Head of Capital Transactions.

Cundall has appointed Sonya Ku as an Associate in the Sydney-based ESG advisory team.

Ms Ku led the development of multi award-winning sustainability strategies at Mirvac and held leadership roles at Investa and Hyder Consulting. She also played a key role in the evolution of Australia’s Green Building movement as National Technical Manager of Green Star Rating Tools at the Green Building Council of Australia

Unispace has made a key new appointment to its Australia and New Zealand team.

Sam Gill has been appointed as Unispace’s Head of Life Sciences for the ANZ region, based in the company’s Sydney office. He joins Unispace from Johnstaff, where he was a leading head contractor within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry in Australia.
