The NSW Department of Planning and Environment has appointed Dr Liz Develin as the new CEO of Sydney Olympic Park Authority, starting in July.
She was most recently CEO with the Australia Energy Regulator. Dr Develin worked as a Deputy Secretary in the NSW Public Service before completing her Doctorate in Business Administration, which focused on the efficacy of policy implementation in the health sector.
Kath Brassington has been appointed as Associate Director to Savills’ Brisbane Hotels team.
With over 25 years of experience in the liquor sector, she adds a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.
She most recently assisted in the launch of Oatley Fine Wine Merchants, where she held several positions such as Key Account Manager and Sales Manager.
Colliers International has appointed Yashwini Halai as a Research specialist to their expanding WA branch.
Halai has been named Manager of Research at Colliers’ new Perth headquarters.
She comes to us from Urbis, where she was a property consultant in the Property Economics and Research team.
David Blight has been named chief investment officer of ARA Asset Management Limited’s private funds business, ARA Private Funds (APF).
The appointment follows ARA’s recent purchase by ESR, which formed Asia Pacific’s largest real asset manager and the world’s third-largest listed real estate investment manager, with over US$140 billion in assets under management.
APF is run by ARA CEO Moses Song, who works with Blight in his new job.
Shankar Narayanasamy has been named Client Solutions Lead for Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Occupier Services (GOS) unit in Asia Pacific.
He will be responsible for managing the group’s Solution & Commercial managers and analysts to build personalised and integrated solutions based on unique client needs. He has over 18 years of experience in corporate real estate and facilities management.
