Nic Purdue, a respected property specialist, has been named Managing Director of CBRE’s Canberra office.

Purdue joined CBRE two and a half years ago to oversee the Canberra Capital Markets unit, bringing more than two decades of expertise in the property market.

His elevation follows the departure of previous MD Zoe Ferrari to a client-side post at ISPT.

Knight Frank has named Jamie Harding as its new Chief Financial Officer, with temporary CFO Deb Kemp named as the company’s new COO.

Harding joins Knight Frank from Cushman & Wakefield, where he was the head of financial planning and analysis.

Harding has over 15 years of expertise in numerous industries, including property, technology, and hospitality, and has worked for organisations such as Cubic Corporation, The Keystone Group, Nido Student Living, and Hilton Worldwide.

Adelaide architecture and interior design business Studio Nine Architects has announced the appointment of Keith Dougal and Nigel Howden to Principal.

The new principal tier strengthens the studio’s senior management structure, giving extra options for growth and development within the expanding business. It reflects the studio’s increase from 30 to 50 employees in the previous three years.

JLL has added Tim Heaton to its Canberra valuation advisory team in the newly formed job of head of corporate and institutional valuations – Canberra.

Heaton has over ten years of industry experience and comes to JLL from CBRE, where he focused on banking, private, government, and institutional clients in Canberra and the adjacent areas.

Ross Skelton of JLL has joined Colliers’ new Western Australian office as director of the office leasing team in Perth.

Skelton is transferring his significant expertise in broker-led transactions to this new post after 14 years at JLL.
