John Dawson has been named General Manager Operations NSW by Frasers Property Australia, starting immediately.

Dawson will oversee and supervise Frasers Property’s Development Directors in New South Wales, as well as the development management teams in charge of executing the company’s projects throughout the state.

He has been a key player in various historic Frasers Property developments throughout the years.

Scentre Group has announced that Andrew Clarke would take over as Chief Financial Officer on October 1, 2022.

Clarke is the Group’s current Director of Finance and Capital Markets.

The news comes on the heels of Elliott Rusanow’s nomination as CEO, beginning October 1, 2022.

Cushman & Wakefield has announced the hiring of Marcus Tanti as Director for its Melbourne-based Tenant Advisory Group.

He has over 12 years of experience in the commercial property sector, including the last seven years at Savills, where he rose from Leasing Executive to Leader of their Tenant Advisory business in Victoria. 

Cundall, a multidisciplinary engineering consultant, has announced the hiring of Carole O’Neil as Managing Partner.

She becomes the helm of the company 15 years after she originally joined it. She succeeds Tomás Neeson, who has been Managing Partner for the past 8 years and will now serve as Chair of Cundall’s Partners.

Sandra Ng has joined JLL’s Industrial and Logistic Occupiers Services team, where she will be responsible for providing strategic storage solutions to tenants in Melbourne’s industrial sector.

She comes to JLL from uTenant, where she was the director of property. Prior to joining uTenant, she worked for CBRE’s industrial unit in Melbourne.

ARBS Exhibitions has announced the immediate appointment of Professor Tony Arnel as Chairman of the Board, succeeding departing Chairman Ian Hopkins

Arnel is a Deakin University professor and a past president of the Energy Efficiency Council, the Green Building Council of Australia, and the World Green Building Council. For 12 years, he was also the Victorian Building and Plumbing Industry Commissioner.

Michael Cattoni has been appointed to Director in the town planning team at Urbis. Also at Urbis, Richard Barry has been promoted to Associate Director.

The Managing Director of JLL WA Angelo Amara has been announced as a WA Division Councillor at the Property Council.

Staying with JLL WA, Karen Draper has been announced as JLL’s new Head of Retail – WA, replacing Ann Manifis.

Draper’s experience spans over two decades with the first seven years at JLL in the Karrinyup Shopping Centre team. She then went on to work for AMP Capital where she held various roles across her tenure. 

With the hiring of Sam Alexander as Senior Executive, Investment Sales, global real estate firm Cushman & Wakefield continues to expand its commercial agency offering in South Australia, just four months after opening its new commercial real estate team in Adelaide.
