Following Romilly Madew’s departure as CEO at the end of July, Infrastructure Australia’s Board has selected Adam Copp as Acting Chief Executive Officer, commencing Monday 1 August 2022.

He has over 15 years of experience in a variety of policy, strategy, and public affairs roles in Australian Government agencies across infrastructure, workplace relations, and the Council of Australian Governments, and is presently Infrastructure Australia’s Chief Operating Officer.

JLL has announced the hiring of industry specialist Karen Draper as the new Head of Retail, Property, and Asset Management for Western Australia.

Draper has over 22 years of retail experience in Western Australia and joins JLL from AMP, where she most recently served as Divisional Property Manager – WA/NSW.

Sticking with JLL, the group has added Stuart Fox as a Senior Director to its Valuation Advisory division.

Fox has over 20 years of property sector experience, most recently in funds management. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director for Savills in Victoria, as well as the Australian Head of Valuations for Savills and a top role at m3property.

Richard Phillips, an experienced expert in supply chain solutions, has joined JLL as Head of Supply Chain – Australia and New Zealand.

He comes to JLL from DHL, where he spent 25 years in senior roles throughout their 3PL (third-party logistics) business, delivering supply chain solutions to international clients.

And finally, JLL has hired Harrison Truelove as an Associate, Office Leasing in Victoria.

Damian Kelly, an industry specialist, has been appointed to CBRE Hotels’ national pubs platform.

Kelly has owned and run a portfolio of pub properties in New South Wales for the past ten years, with a concentration on purchasing underutilised large-format pubs, establishing a strong management team, and undertaking full-scale renovations to maximise profitability.

Savills has reinforced its team by appointing seasoned property researcher Katy Dean as National Head of Research.

She has over 15 years of experience in delivering market-leading research and has worked in a variety of high-profile global real estate organisations in Australia and around the world, including a role with Colliers International in Europe, where she managed research analytics and outputs for over 12 countries.

ServiceFM’s Board of Directors has seen two revisions. Former CEO James Pollock has been appointed Managing Director, while shareholder and Adelaide-based entrepreneur Paul Rowse has been appointed Non-Executive Director.

Cundall has announced the addition of two new partners to its worldwide leadership team. With the addition of Rob Turner in Manchester and Alejandro (Alex) Saez in Singapore, the firm now has 44 Partners, strengthening its existing leadership team and laying the path for future expansion.

At the same time, David Collins will join the Cundall Australia Management Board as a Director, and Marcus Kan will take over as the new Managing Director for Singapore.

Sam Apps has joined Mirvac as Group General Manager, Procurement & Premises.

Lavan has announced the promotions to senior associate of Rachel Harkness in Family Law, Claudie Hughes in Property & Leasing and Zac Sharp in Restructuring & Insolvency. The group also announced the promotions to associate of Rebecca Cain in Property & Leasing, Tiffany Lau in Litigation & Dispute Resolution, and Isabella Mosole in Planning & Environment.

Staying in WA, Tom Mellor has joined the local Cushman and Wakefield team as the Associate Director of the Tenancy Advisory Group in Perth.

And finally in the west, Sandy Huynh has started a new position as Development Manager at DevelopmentWA.

Dexus CFO Keir Barnes and COO Melanie Bourke have been selected to join Chief Executive Women.
