Stockland announced Alison Harrop’s intention to step down as Chief Financial Officer.

Ms Harrop will remain in the role until early August 2025 in order to facilitate a smooth transition.

Stockland has confirmed the appointment of Josh McHutchison as the incoming Chief Financial Officer.

Mr McHutchison is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Sydney Airport and has over 30 years of experience in the property and finance sectors both in Australia and overseas. His prior roles have included Chief Financial Officer of the Lendlease Americas business, Managing Director of Lendlease’s A$24bn Australian funds management platform, Chief Operating Officer of Lendlease’s property business in Australia, Chief Financial Officer of UK based Arqiva Limited and Managing Director of Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Estate Assets in London.

CBRE has appointed David Swann to lead its NSW Retail Leasing team.

Mr Swann brings over 30 years of property experience to his new role from senior positions at LaSalle Investment Management and Simlian Metro Capital, alongside retail leasing roles at Lendlease and Stockland.

In his new CBRE role, Mr Swann will head the NSW Retail Leasing team, whilst also specialising in Sydney CBD retail leasing.

Colliers has announced the appointment of Tyler Talbot as National Director, Capital Markets.

Tyler has been involved in some of the North Shore’s most notable sales over recent years, including The Zenith, Chatswood for $438 million on behalf of Centuria/BlackRock, a 50 per cent stake in 101 Miller Street, North Sydney for $422 million on behalf of Nuveen, 73 Miller Street, North Sydney for $400 million on behalf of ESR, 99 Walker Street, North Sydney for $311 million on behalf of Investa/Oxford Properties Group, and a 50 per cent stake in Northpoint, North Sydney for $300 million on behalf of Redefine/Cromwell.

Staying at Colliers, Amit Oberoi has been promoted to Head of Enterprise Clients, Asia.

IRT CEO Patrick Reid has resigned from IRT to pursue the next chapter of his career in a similar role with another community services organisation.

Ross Gallagher, IRT’s Executive General Manager Home Care and Retirement Living will step into the role to assume responsibilities as Interim CEO until a permanent appointment is made.
