Centuria Capital Group, has promoted 28-year-experienced Rod Owen-Jones as its new Healthcare Fund Manager.

Mr Owen-Jones will oversee $1.5 billionin of healthcare real estate across Australia, responsible for managing the unlisted Centuria Healthcare Property Fund (CHPF), Centuria Healthcare Direct Medical Fund No. 2 (CHDMF2), Centuria Aged Care Property Fund No. 1 (CACPF1) and Nexus Property Trust.

For the past five years, Rod has been at the coalface of healthcare asset and property management as Centuria Healthcare’s Portfolio Manager.

Built has announced that Rob Stanton will be appointed to the newly created role of Head of Built Capital.

Rob has over 30 years of experience in Australian real estate. Most recently he was a founding partner and Head of Real Estate at Barrenjoey. Prior to that he had 14 years at J.P. Morgan as a Managing Director in roles that included Head of Real Estate Investment Banking and Head of Australian and New Zealand Equity Research. Rob also worked at Macquarie Bank and began his career at Lendlease.

CBRE has promoted James Parry to lead its Pacific Capital Markets Office team.

Mr Parry takes the reins from Flint Davidson, who was overseeing the Office team in addition to his broader leadership role as CBRE’s Pacific Head of Capital Markets.

Mr Parry has over 24 years of property experience and an extensive track record in institutional office investment sales, including Sydney CBD transactions such as 45 Clarence St, Sydney ($530 million), Liberty Place ($410 million) and 388 George St ($460 million).

Cushman & Wakefield has strengthened its Tenant Advisory business with the appointment of Morgan Evans as National Director in its expanding Logistics & Industrial Tenant Advisory Group.

Cushman & Wakefield also announced the appointment of Mika Kania as the Head of Sustainability Advisory for Asia Pacific.

Based in Hong Kong, China, she will continue to report to Matt Clifford, Head of Sustainability & ESG, Asia Pacific.

JLL has appointed Nathan Bingham to the position of Head of Occupier Services – Logistics and Industrial, Australia. 

JLL also strengthened its national office leasing team with the appointments of industry veteran Patrick Mount in Melbourne and Tessa Scholten in Perth.

Patrick Mount joins as Senior Director, Office Leasing in JLL’s Melbourne CBD office, bringing over two decades of commercial property experience, most recently with Dexus.

In Perth, Tessa Scholten takes up the position of Executive, Office Leasing, bringing with her previous experience from a national, top-tier agency.
