Region Group has announced the appointment of David Salmon as Chief Financial Officer. Mr Salmon will commence with RGN on 7 April 2025.

Evan Walsh has been appointed as RGN’s Chief Information Officer and will remain as RGN’s interim CFO until Mr Salmon commences.

Mr Salmon has held senior positions over the past 20 years at Westfield Group and Scentre Group, and at FSP/Abacus Property Group and Ernst & Young before then.

Opteon has announced Natalie Cohen’s appointment as its new National Director – Core Commercial at Opteon AU.

In her new role leading Core Commercial, Natalie is responsible for a team of over 100 people across Australia who are focussed on delivering commercial valuations.

Salta has announced Marinos Stathopoulos as its new Director of People & Culture.

Marinos has held several senior leadership positions, including Head of People and Experience at Alchemy, People Capability and Development Lead at Arrotex, GM of People and Performance at Rubicor, and Head of Talent at Adecco UK & Ireland.

Global consulting engineering firm Steensen Varming has appointed Gráinne McCormack as its new Chief Executive Officer effective 1 March 2025 – marking her return to the company as it enters its 100th anniversary decade.

Having previously spent 10 years with the firm, which specialises in mechanical and electrical engineering, lighting and sustainable design, Gráinne was instrumental in shaping its unique ‘one studio’ approach, uniting the expertise across its global offices.

Ross Palframan has been promoted to the role of Senior Director within Cushman and Wakefield’s WA Logistics & Industrial team.

Stockland has announced the appointment of Christopher Lawton to the Stockland Board, effective 1 January 2025.

Chris is currently a director of Waypoint REIT and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales.
