The Board of Lendlease has announced the appointment of John Gillam as a director and Chairman-elect of the Group.

Joining the Board immediately, Mr Gillam will commence in the Chairman role on 15 November 2024, following the Lendlease AGM and planned retirement of current Chairman, Michael Ullmer AO.

He is a former Chair of CSR Limited, which followed a successful 20-year executive career with Wesfarmers. He is currently Chair of Nufarm Limited, the VetPartners Group and BlueFit Pty Limited, and he also serves as a Director of the Clontarf Foundation.

Lifestyle Communities has announced the retirement of its co-founder and Managing Director, James Kelly, who has informed the Board of his intention to retire on December 31, 2024.

James co-founded Lifestyle Communities over 21 years ago and has served as Managing Director since the company’s listing on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2007. Under his leadership, the business has transformed from a vision in 2003 into 33 communities in operation and planning today, positively impacting the lives of over 5,500 Victorians.

Ethos Urban has announced the appointment of Daniela Vujic as its newest Director of Planning.

Widely regarded as a logistics leader, Daniela will join the Sydney team bringing over 20 years of diverse experience in both public and private sectors, boosting Ethos Urban’s planning expertise in key sectors including transport, logistics and industrial.

Knight Frank has announced the appointment of Craig Shute as CEO of Asia Pacific (APAC), effective 1 April 2025. Craig is currently CEO of the Greater China business and will be taking over from Kevin Coppel who will retire from the partnership in March 2025. He will be based in Singapore.

Prior to joining Knight Frank, Shute served as the managing director of JLL in Victoria, Australia, and previously led CBRE’s operations in Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan from 2008 to 2016.

Scentre Group has announced the appointment of Craig Mitchell as a non-executive Director of the Board.

Craig has more than 25 years of experience in the property industry spanning retail, construction, development and funds management. He has previously held executive leadership roles at Grocon and Dexus.

He is currently Global Chief Executive Officer of Northwest Healthcare Properties REIT, a role from which he will step down in mid-2025.

Mirvac Group has announced the appointment of Rosemary Hartnett as a non-executive director to the Mirvac board, effective 2 December 2024

Rosemary has over 30 years’ experience in the Australian property and financial services sectors and is currently a non-executive director of Arena REIT and is the former chair of ISPT. She has had extensive senior management experience across a number of large ASX-listed organisations and was previously the Chief Executive Officer of Housing Choices Australia.

The Cohen Group has appointed Mandy Beresford as its new Property Manager for its Commercial and Industrial division. 

She spent the past five years at JLL as a centre manager.
