Parkline Place

The NSW Government will occupy over 10 floors at Oxford Properties Group, Mitsubishi Estate Asia and Investa’s Parkline Place with four agencies set to move in.

Parkline Place is a 39-storey energy efficient tower building located on the corner of Pitt and Park Streets above Gadigal metro station. The development has created 600 construction jobs and will support up to 4,000 workers spanning across the government and private sectors.

The building is now 75 per cent leased prior to its first occupancy with only the high-rise floors remaining, Parkline Place symbolises the future of Sydney’s commercial spaces.

The NSW Government’s central property agency, Property and Development NSW (PDNSW) negotiated lease arrangements for four NSW Government agencies, who will occupy over 10 floors at Parkline Place. The Office of Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) moved into the building in January, and Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) and Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) will move into their new premises from April 2025. The Crown Solicitor’s Office (CSO) will take up residence mid-2026.

The NSW Government agencies join leading wealth management organisation, Insignia Financial – one of the first tenants to move into Parkline Place – and global accounting, tax and advisory services firm, BDO.

The Grounds will reveal its new premises in the coming months to join an food and beverage offering alongside Batch Espresso and Starbucks.

Minister for Lands and Property Steve Kamper said the building will “provide public servants with quality and sustainable modern workplaces. They will support flexibility and increased collaboration to deliver better service outcomes for the people of NSW”.

Parkline Place is co-owned by Oxford and MEA and managed and delivered by Investa. Designed by architects Foster + Partners and built by CPB Contractors, the premium 39-storey tower includes 48,102.80sqm of office space, and 635.40sqm of hospitality and retail space.

“We are delighted to welcome our NSW Government tenant customers to Parkline Place,” Mark Podgornik, Head of Leasing, Investa said.

“Many major employers are progressively bringing employees back to the office for more of the working week, and like leading commercial firms, this government is placing significant value on creating a desirable workplace experience for its people.

“We are seeing strong demand for new buildings like Parkline Place that are a destination in their own right, easy to get to, have plenty of amenities, and offer exceptional, sustainable and adaptable spaces to facilitate teamwork, collaboration and innovation.

“Only the high-rise floors remain available for lease, and we are in discussions with businesses attracted to the expansive, column free floor plates. These offer the flexibility to create multiple workspaces, with sweeping views across Hyde Park, Sydney Harbour and the city, in a convenient and well-connected location. The building retail offering further enhances the appeal of the Parkline Place experience.”

Parkline Place is fully electric and powered by renewable electricity, targeting net zero scope 1 and 2 emissions in operation. It is designed to achieve 5.5-star NABERS Energy, 3.5-star NABERS Water, 6-star Green Star Design and As-Built V1.3, and WELL Certification V2 Platinum sustainability ratings.
