Strong leaders are more important today than ever before. Become a more effective leader and get more out of your people, by making time for them and having the important conversations that keep us connected.
Having effective leadership is critical to the success of any organization and the key to unlocking individual and team performance.
Leading with Purpose in Property is a new 12-session course focused on building leaders that are in control of their behaviour by actively choosing a course of action, rather than being led by reaction, fear or avoidance.
This course provides a simple but pragmatic leadership development program with an emphasis on practical and time-efficient interventions relevant to immediate leadership challenges, including:
- Leading with Purpose in Property sessions: Short focussed and practical development sessions that provide an opportunity for leaders to explore a common leadership challenge, identify how it is showing up in their work, and make a plan of action.
- Leading with Purpose in Property Playbook: Online toolkit that provides ‘just in time’ tools and resources for leaders to access at points of challenge / reflection
- Leading with Purpose in Property Peer Coaching: Creation of a peer coaching community of leaders that reinforces lessons learned and builds a culture of collaboration and coaching across the leadership cohort.
Our Leading with Purpose in Property course will cover three key areas:
- Self: Leaders need the self-awareness to challenge their own assumptions and biases. The more self-aware leaders are, the more effective their considered interventions are likely to be.
- Reflection: Leaders will have human reactions to situations around them. We focus on creating a habit of reflection that prevents them from reacting out of instinct, but rather acting out of deliberate choice
- Connection: Leaders need a community around them, to practice the vulnerability that is key to learning agility and continuous peer to peer development over the long term
Learners will cover the following topics in more detail over 12 sessions:
- Making time for work and you
- Understanding and developing yourself
- Engaging and Enabling others
- Coaching Conversations
- Difficult Conversations
- Leading Change
Who should attend:
- Managers wishing to build and develop leadership skills;
- Those currently in a leadership role who wish to develop their leadership potential; and
- Emerging leaders at all levels to realise their strengths and improve their professional potential.
